METHOD OF USE

■ CERA PLUG should be mixed in the ratio of 3 to 4 partsof powder with 1 part of clean water, stirred well to get auniform consistent paste. The material shall be plugged inby gloved hand or trowel to the leaky surface, hold it for fewseconds till leak stops. If water pressure is more and leakdoes not stop then repeat the same plugging method in andaround the same location till the leak stops completely.

CERA MEC SS FIX is a three component specially formulated epoxy fixing and repair mortar for effective use as a structural fixing mortar for various substrates and for fixingPVC expansion joint sheet, CERA MECH STRIP SEAL.

MIXING & APPLICATION:

■ Pour component B Hardener into component A Base (Grey) container and stir thoroughly by a paddle mixer until homogeneity is achieved.     Then component C Filler shall be added and mixed well in the ratio of         9 : 10 : 1 (Base : Hardener : Filler). The paddle mixer shall be     of slow speed stirrer not exceeding 400 rpm. The mixing shall be carried out till a uniform consistent mix of even grey colour is obtained.       Scrap the sides well so that no portion of unmixed part remains. Mixing should be carried out as close as possible to the site to avoid loss       of time. Ensure all work of jointing to be completed within the open time after mixing.

■ Apply CERA MEC SS FIX on either side of the expansion joints to a minimum width of 50 mm.

  Place CERA MEC STRIP SEAL into the CERA MEC SS FIX applied area with the divider tape facing upward. Press and iron well with a rubber    roller from the centre of the tape to the edges to remove air pockets, avoid cavity and wrinkles . Protect the edges of tape on either side        by over lapping the edges with CERA MEC SS FIX finish to 45° slope. This joint sealing method can be carried out horizontally, vertically or    overhead, however it should be noted that CERA MEC SS FIX does not set instantly, so it needs some support on the uncured strip on         
  vertical and overhead surfaces.

CERA HYDROLASTIC WP 666 is a cold-applied, one-component, waterborne, liquid, applied polyurethane waterproofing membrane based on aliphatic resin ideally suitable for outdoor application, possessing excellent UV-stability, mechanical and abrasion resistant. Suitable for use in hot climatic conditions. It is used as UV-stable coating, to extend life of old roofs or as reflective coating to enhance energy efficiency.

APPLICATION:

Apply CERA HYDROLASTIC WP 666 with brush ontothe primed surface in minimum two layer. CERA HYDRO-LASTIC WP 666 is applied in 2 – 6 coats as per the requiredthickness.The minimum time between primer and subsequent coatingis 8 hours at 30o C. The tools should be cleaned with water before CERAHYDROLASTIC WP 666 hardens because the curedmaterial is very hard to remove even by machine.During the curing process micro bubbles are formed. This isa product characteristic, which does not affect the protectiveproperties. For this reason it should be ensured that thematerial is not applied at excessive film thicknesses in onelayer. Excessive film thickness may create bubbles.Whilst CERA HYDROLASTIC WP 666 is resistant tomost commonly encountered atmospheric pollutants, propri-ety cleaning solutions and environmental spoilage, thesuitability of the product for use in applications withincreased chemical resistance requirements should first beestablished in consultation with our technical services department.

CERA BOXO PRIME 8679 is a premium, high qualitygeneral purpose, impregnating primer and waterrepellant. It contains a stabilized emulsion mix ofsilicone and nanoemulsion that are susceptible tohydrolysis. Hydrolysis happens only after applica-tion on the substrate which on application breaksthe emulsion and converts it into the resin waterrepellent.
